Altoona Beauty School's fine reputation has been maintained since its establishment in August 1956. For over 55 years, ABS has graduated thousands of professionals. Many of our graduates have gone on to work as stylists, salon managers, platform artists, and salespeople at beauty supply houses. A great deal have opened salons and surpassed even their own dreams. Altoona Beauty School continually strives to update and improve our facility and curriculums to offer students the best education at an affordable price. Our objective at Altoona Beauty School is to prepare our students for a successful career in today's modern world of cosmetology. To achieve these goals, we have a team of instructors who are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. Our staff has had many years of teaching experience, as well as salon experience. The staff attends various seminars and workshops throughout the year to stay on top of today's ever changing hair trends, as well as teaching techniques.
