Our Story
Altoona Beauty School’s fine reputation has been maintained since its establishment in August 1956. Altoona Beauty School is proud to have graduated thousands of professionals. Many of our graduates have gone on to work as stylists, salon managers or platform artists. A great deal have opened salons and surpassed even their own dreams. Altoona Beauty School continually strives to update and improve our facility and curriculum to offer students the best education at an affordable price.
Our objective at Altoona Beauty School is to prepare our students for a successful career in today’s modern world of cosmetology. To achieve these goals, we have a team of instructors who are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. The staff attends various seminars and workshops throughout the year to stay on top of today’s ever changing hair trends, as well as teaching techniques.”
