At Altoona Beauty School, we care about each of our students and their goals they work to achieve. We provide our students with experienced staff members to assist each student from the very beginning with the enrollment process to finish with job placement assistance.
We want all students to feel support from our staff not only in their goals and education but their financial life as well. That’s why we offer financial aid planning to all prospective students on their first visit to show you the options of paying for beauty school. *Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
We're a nationally accredited school teaching students the skills and knowledge they need to have to succeed in their state boards. We integrate a variety of teaching methods to match our students learning needs and help them succeed in their beauty dreams.

ABS Cosmetology Program, Within this program I have received so much support from my instructors both in the classroom and on clinic. On clinic we have the privilege to work with several different instructors that work with us to find our own niche. Our administrators are informative and never has there been a moment in my time at ABS that I felt as though something wasn't properly explained to me. Altoona Beauty School is more than just a school, everyone is family. I've met forever friends at ABS, I've grown relationships with my instructors and hope those relationships continue to grow for many years to come. I am confident that I will have a great foundation of knowledge and skill when I graduate. I will miss every part of this experience.
Olivia McCloOur cosmetology course is built to help anyone who has a passion for beauty to succeed in the world of beauty. We teach our students the skills to become talented cosmetologists and marketable to employers after graduation. Our full-time/part-time cosmetology program teaches hairdressing, nail care, skincare, and makeup to produce well-rounded individuals. This is all done with a large client base for students to receive hands-on instruction and experience.
